The new year brings with it many new exciting partnerships for GIANTECH.
This January, GIANTECH Engineering Pte Ltd and GEOPAL System A/S began a partnership for GIANTECH to be the exclusive distributor of GEOPAL spares in Singapore.
GIANTECH is pleased to announce our latest authorization by Kyma to be the exclusive agent in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia for Kyma AS products. This new partnership agreement between Giantech and Kyma covers new sales, spare parts and service repair representation of Kyma products in these countries.
Our GIANTECH engineers, Mr Tim Xu and Mr Sandeep represented the company to participate in a maker’s training session from 3rd August 2017 to 4th August 2017. Held in Tsukuba Works in Japan, the training aimed to equip authorized engineers with the knowledge and skills to service equipments supplied by Kashiwa Co., Ltd.
At GIANTECH Engineering, we constantly seek new alliances to provide one-stop services to the vessels that are looking for spares and service suppliers.
This year, we have been authorized by Atlas Incinerators A/S as the sales and service agent in Singapore. This is a breakthrough for both Atlas Incinerators and GIANTECH to provide more accessible service points for shipowners.
Kashiwa Co. Ltd, a renowned Japan-based manufacturer of marine IGS, N2 and PSA equipments, has recruited GIANTECH as an authorised service agent in Singapore. This new venture brings together the technological capabilities of Kashiwa and the technical expertise of GIANTECH’s service engineers to enhance the full service experience of the shipowners and shipmanagers.

Kangrim Heavy Industries Co., Ltd is one of the world’s leading supplier for marine boilers. Established in 1981, Kangrim has supplied marine boilers to 576 shipowners in 50 countries. On 15 November 2015, Kangrim Heavy Industries Co., Ltd assigned Goh IGS and Automation Pte Ltd (GIA) as their authorized service agent for boiler in Singapore, on top of their inert gas systems.

HIPAQ appoints Goh IGS & Automation Pte Ltd (GIA) to be the Official Representative in Singapore.
With this agreement, HIPAQ hopes to more effectively penetrate into the marine and offshore market in Asia with their customised high pressure pump technologies.
Maritime Protection (MP) was invited to give a presentation at Jurong Shipyard on 19 March 2014. Senior Sales Manager Knut Arild Kaupang, who has been with MP for 18 years, gave the presentation and training. He gave a detailed presentation regarding MP’s products including their Inert Gas Generators (IGG) and Dry Inert Gas Generator (DIGG).
Feb 2014 – Singapore company Goh IGS & Automation Pte Ltd (GIA) has been awarded earlier this month, the official "Service and Repair Partner" status for Unitor Nitrogen systems and Maritime Protection IG Systems.
The setup of a service support in Singapore for these critical systems fulfils the long-awaited request from Ship-Owners and Ship-Managers, who need these systems to be fully functional during cargo operations.
From its humble beginnings back in 2001, where GIA only provided after-sales services and spare parts for the Hamworthy MOSS Inert Gas Systems, GIA has since grown to become an inert gas system powerhouse. Air Products AS appoints Goh IGS & Automation Pte Ltd (GIA) as its Service Associate in Singapore, for its Nitrogen System (N2 System). This agreement also covers the TMC compressors that are an integral part of their N2 System.
The agreement, which covers service, maintenance and fault-finding for Air Products AS N2 System, is part of the effort to enhance the maker’s strong position as the leading N2 supplier in the marine and offshore market.

Two GIA engineers spent the last 5 days in Shanghai, China to attend the latest technical course conducted by Pres-Vac Engineering. Conducted by Senior engineers from Denmark, the 4 day course was also attended by other engineers from Korea and China.

New letter of Authorization with Maritime Protection AS for the Permea Inert Gas Systems and Generators.
GIA has been representing Air Products AS since early 2009. Following the split of Maritime Protection AS and Air Products AS to concentrate on different areas of the Inert Gas Systems product ranges, GIA now represents both company for their systems.
GIA signs a deal with Lloyd McGill Pte Ltd to commence ISO 9001 Accreditation.
Scheduled to start at the end of the year, GIA will begin the journey to become ISO:9001 certified. GIA will begin its internal preparation and hopes to get auditing done by early 2012.
Kangrim Heavy Industries Co. Ltd, the leading Korean Maker of Marine Inert Gas Systems and Generators, appointments GIA as their Singapore Service Centre for their IG systems.
Kangrim has been producing and supplying its own inert gas systems (flue Gas) and inert gas generators since early 2003 and have almost 1000 vessels using their systems in the few short years. The growing demand for their systems makes it necessary for them to expand their service networks beyond Korea.
GIA is proud to become Pres-Vac Engineering ApS Official Service Repair Centre.

Found out from electrical officer that the system was unable to run full capacity.
Test the signal from the main panel - found signal in working condition, but the valve was not open/close accordingly.
Found that the blower outlet valve actuator air leakage, causing the valve to malfunction.
11th September 2009 (Friday)1800hrs – 12th September 2009 (Saturday) 0900hrs
Preparation of equipment and spare parts and left office to Marina South Pier to board launch to Difko Chaser.
Capacity control circuit checked and found PR2289A was faulty and renew and circuit checked and calibration made.
Fuel oil control circuit checked and adjustment made.
Blower 1 & 2 capacity load calibrated on PR2279.
O2 Analyzer calibration checked and found normal.
Start system on auto station and found system working satisfactory with Ship’s Engineer.
17th July 2009 (Friday) 1000hrs (SIN) – 2100hrs(Jakarta) – 1 Service Engineer
Preparing tools and standby for the update from Superintendent Mr. Francis
Travel from Singapore to Jakarta and meet up with agent at hotel at 2100hrs.
Meet up with Superintendent Capt. Yusra, at the hotel and discuss problem of the IGG.
In tandem with the recent development of makers, GIA has reviewed its works and decided to use the Green Instruments O2 Analysers as the default O2 analyser for all works on IG systems and IG Generators.
The G35 O2 Analyser has been proven to be reliable and accurate for use by GIA engineers on various vessels. It has also been recently adopted by many of the IG makers themselves.
